I'm really enjoying testing the Philips Barista Brew so far. The biggest positive for me is the taste of the coffee. It makes a lovely espresso, and the quality of the coffee has made the effort of learning to use the machine worthwhile. The initial setup is quite tricky, and there is definitely a learning curve, particularly if you're not used to a semi-automatic espresso machine. I'm still experimenting with the grinder settings to find what works best, and I've only tried one type of coffee bean so far, so I haven't explored the dual bean hopper switching feature yet. I've started trying the milk frothing system, but I'm still getting used to it and learning how to achieve the best texture. The grinder is noticeable when running, although the noise is acceptable to me. Cleaning is reasonably straightforward, but there are several steps to work through. I'm also still learning how to interpret the pressure gauge and get the most from the machine's settings. Overall, my experience has been positive. The coffee tastes great, and I'm looking forward to improving my technique and getting even better results as I become more familiar with it.

This has been a great addition to our kitchen, it’s super stylish, professional and makes preparing coffee at home feel like a cafe experience. It does take some time to get used to, especially when adjusting the grind size, dose, and extraction settings. However, once you understand how everything works, the machine is capable of producing rich, flavourful espresso with a lovely crema. The steam wand is really good, it creates smooth creamy milk which just adds to the taste of the coffee! Being able to keep two different coffee beans in the dual bean container is super helpful and means you can switch between tastes. It’s easy to clean and use the descaling setting, can be a little noisy when grinding but other than that it’s a perfect machine!

This was a birthday present gift to me and it is absolutely brilliant. After years of pod-style machines I have always wanted to take the plunge with a more substantial manual machine and it has lived up to expectations. The machine is fundamentally easy to use in terms of the functions, but does require some work to get grinding & brewing into the right ranges, but this adds to the enjoyment of using the machine and experimenting with different beans & settings. This machine is the perfect option in my opinion for someone who wants to up their coffee game but can also make a coffee relatively quickly to take to work etc. Fantastic product!

Love from the first coffee I got my express a not really not long time ago but to be honest that was a love from the first coffee. Its jot only looks really good and modern but also coffee taste like from really coffee shop. My husband who is absolute coffee freak using it everyday to make himself a espresso and he making me latte. We both really satisfied with result. The only small con is grinder spitting coffee a bit when it's grinding beans but this is not a major issue. I would highly recommend that coffee machine to my friends.

The philips PSA3218 semi automatic espresso machine an amazing machine, it looks fantastic in the kitchen, a real centre piece, well built good quality build, itis easy to assemble out of the box with good instructions, it is my first time with a maxhine like this and after a few test drinks and learning the techniques, ie tamping, bean grind size, makjng sure your pressure is right, ,cup size itsa marvelius machine and drinks i have made with it are very nice and tasty, the milk frother works well to, the ability to cusotmise your cup size, bean grind size is very useful, , i have a few more drinks to make and try with this machine yet but my imoressions so far a very good.

It took me a while to get to grips with how to use it and anyone considering buying it should be prepared to have to learn in order to be able to use it. There are lots of innovative and clever functions and I’ve been so impressed with what this coffee machine can do. It’s super versatile and you can make loads of different types of coffee with it. Easy to keep clean as it comes with a cleaning kit. I’ve only ever had the pod machines but this is in a world of its own, definitely worth paying more for this.

It took me a while to get started and I have never had a coffee machine like this before. I had to carefully read through the instructions but once I got going it has been great. The milk frothier is amazing, it is powerful and great for making cappuccino. The jug is included so I didn’t need to buy anything apart from the beans. The machine looks great, it does take up a bit of room but I’m willing to sacrifice that for amazing coffee every morning. I only have a small kitchen so not lots of room. Also it looks great as it is sleek and modern. It is easy to keep clean. Overall even though I had to carefully read through how to use it, I actually feel like I know more about what makes a good coffee. It’s fun to use as you can buy syrups to change the flavours so it is great if you like to try different flavours. Definitely recommend for any coffee lover.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited to get to try this bean to cup coffee machine out as I have always had the standard pod machines. It was a little daunting at first, but I found a really good video demonstration on Google on how to use it, this may be helpful for others too. I am now using it 3-4 times a day and have even mastered how to make a mocha. It’s actually super easy to use. It is built with great quality and I wouldn’t say it’s overly bulky. It holds a great amount of water so I’m not having to constantly top it up. You can change how fine you want your coffee beans ground to if you prefer your coffee stronger, I have settled for ‘5’ for an americano. I found the tamper super handy for compressing the ground coffee. If I had to give one negative bit of feedback it would be that when the beans are being ground it can be a little messy. Overall I am very happy with this machine, my morning americanos are so much tastier
