My friend recommended me this particular iron, it’s quiet pricey but it’s all worth it. When I have used it I was amazed how fast the creases are disappearing. Great purchase !

If this product turns out to be half as good as other Philips products that I have then it will be brilliant. I am now 81 years old and still have in original box my first electric shaver still in full working condition purchased in 1958. Speaks for itself

I have used several irons and find this one to be the best but on the other hand it’s an expensive iron compared to all previous ones.

This is our second Philips steam generator iron and it hasn’t disappointed. It is so much quieter and lightweight but far more powerful. It took a bit of getting used to as you have the steam doesn’t stop immediately but if you follow the instructions and ‘dry’ iron for a few seconds it’s fine. The steam boost is a bonus, especially when ironing linen! The iron locks onto the base unit which makes for easier carrying! I would thoroughly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the 5* rating as the product is so easy touse it glides through the ironing pile and takes a quarter of the time it would usually take all in all a fabulous product, the steam feature means it takes creases out a whole lot quicker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very impressed with this iron it has a large 1.8 litre water tank so no need to fill it up all of the time, it has automatic optimal temperature so that you don’t have to mess around with heat settings it adjusts to whatever you are ironing. It is very lightweight and the handle is comfortable. I have used this iron on all different fabrics and it has got creases out of everything with no problems at all, overall I’m over the moon with it and I will be recommending it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best iron I’ve ever had - usually I have to go over creases a few times to get it all out but this does it first time nearly every time which saves me a lot of time with a lot of things to iron. I expected it to be quite heavy in my hand but it’s actually similar weight to most other irons (if you struggle with ones that are too heavy): I’m hoping I’ll have this one for a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best iron I have ever used!! I have 3 children and a partner and this product is saving my life and family time. Previously I was using traditional iron and I spent hours on ironing. Now it is so quick and easy!! The iron is quite big, but not very heavy. Theiron needs to be put on a stable surface. The iron heats up very quickly - around 1min - 2 min - you will be notified that it's ready by a ping. You can use the ironing plate both vertically and horizontally. My mother in law has also come round to iron her bedding. The Steam Generator easily removes all creases without the use of much steam. Also you do not need to adjust the settings and sort all of your clothes out as this product has the OptimalTemp technology and you can iron all types of fabrics without changing the iron temperature. With this product you can also save the energy by using ECO mode – this mode produces less amount of steam but the results are the same. The Perfect Care Performer Steam Generator has got also the safety off mode – when you are not using it for 5 minutes the appliance switches off automatically. I really love this product and I have recommended it to all my family already.

I love the design, colour and efficiency of my new steam generator iron. I love the fact that it locks to the base and is portable as one unit. It irons beautifully. I would certainly recommend to buy.
